The ability of a processor to perform floating point calculations is critical to performance in many areas of computing such as 3D graphics, video decoding, image processing and audio effects. The ZiiLABS MandelMark is an Android application designed to measure the floating point performance of modern GPUs by using an OpenGL ES 2.0 shader program to visualise the solutions to the Mandelbrot set.
